How to collect ChatGPT answers with the API

Store your dashboard API key in the server environment variable QUERYING_API_KEY, then run this request. The country code selects the collection market; it does not translate the question.

Read the completed response

Replace TASK_ID with task.id from the submission. Poll at intervals while QUEUED or RUNNING; when COMPLETED, read the engine fields inside response. Handle FAILED as an error. Retrieve and store the result within 24 hours of completion, or receive it by webhook.

Each completed task uses 2 credits. Failed tasks are not charged. Check supported regions and plan concurrency.

Limits when interpreting results

This captures the anonymous consumer experience. It does not reproduce a paid account, its memory or a specific user’s history. Answers can vary between runs. A model API response is a different observation.
