Questions

What happens when I run out of credits?

Your bill stays at your plan price. New requests return an insufficient-credit error, and you can upgrade in the billing portal at any time.

When do credits refresh?

Each billing period resets your balance to the plan allowance. The subscription buys a usage allowance for that period, so use credits before your renewal date.

Can I change plans mid-month?

Yes, in the billing portal. Stripe prorates the difference; payment of the resulting invoice applies the new plan allowance.

When am I charged?

When a task completes. Credits are reserved when a task is accepted and released if it fails.

Can I try it before paying?

Every new account starts with 2,000 credits before you add a payment method. That covers about 1,000-2,000 requests on the public answer engines. Source Influence is metered separately.

How is Source Influence priced?

Source Influence is a separate analysis priced by model usage and source fetching. The Source Influence documentation lists the metering rules.
