Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of querying.ai (the “Service”), operated by Opactor Inc. (“we”). By creating an account or calling the API you agree to them.
What the Service does
You submit a prompt or query aimed at a third-party AI answer engine; we run it against that engine and return the answer and the sources it cited. The answers are the engines’ output, not ours. We do not author, endorse, verify or control them, and an engine may change its behaviour, its answer for the same prompt, or its availability at any time.
Your account and API keys
You are responsible for everything submitted under your API keys, including by anyone you give a key to. Keep keys secret; revoke a leaked key from the dashboard. We may suspend an account that is being used unlawfully, that attempts to break the Service or another customer’s isolation, or that submits content you have no right to submit.
Plans, credits and payment
- Plans are monthly subscriptions. Each cycle’s payment grants that plan’s credits.
- Credits do not roll over. On each renewal the balance is reset to the new cycle’s amount, so unused credits from the previous cycle are discarded.
- Each task costs a published number of credits by engine. A task that fails costs nothing — the reservation is released rather than charged.
- When your balance cannot cover a task, submission is rejected with HTTP 402 rather than queued.
- Prices are in US dollars and exclusive of tax. Where we are registered to collect it, tax is added at checkout and on each invoice.
Availability
Self-serve plans carry no uptime or throughput guarantee. Capacity is bounded by the pools of exit IPs behind each engine and is published as a design target, not a promise; an engine may become temporarily unservable for reasons outside our control. If you need a committed rate or availability, contact us about an enterprise arrangement.
Your data
We process prompts, results and request metadata to run the Service, bill it, and keep it secure — see the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data and do not use your prompts or results to train models.
Cancellation
Cancel at any time from the billing portal. The subscription stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and credits already granted remain usable until they expire at what would have been the next renewal. See the Refund Policy.
Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or the accuracy of any engine’s answer. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to account holders before they take effect; continuing to use the Service after that constitutes acceptance.
