Refund Policy
Last updated 30 July 2026.
Plans are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled at any time from the billing portal.
Cancellation
Cancelling stops the next renewal. The current period is not refunded pro rata, and the credits it granted stay usable until the date the subscription would have renewed.
Failed tasks are never charged
Credits are reserved when a task is accepted and only charged when it completes. A task that fails costs nothing — there is nothing to refund, and no support request is needed. If you believe a task was charged despite failing, send us the task id and we will correct the balance.
When we do refund
- An incorrect charge, a duplicate subscription, or a charge after a cancellation took effect.
- A first-time subscription cancelled within 7 days with materially no usage — contact us and we will refund it in full.
- A sustained outage on our side that made the plan unusable for a significant part of a period: we will credit or refund that period at our discretion.
When we do not
- Credits expired unused at the end of a cycle — plans do not roll credits over.
- An engine changing, degrading or refusing to answer a particular prompt.
- Usage you consider accidental but that ran and returned results.
How to ask
Email contact@opactor.com from the account address, with the invoice id (and task ids where relevant). We aim to answer within two business days; approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe.
