Search results and Reddit join the API

Search results
Google Search results and Reddit posts side by side in the Playground

Collect Google, Bing and Naver search results and Reddit discussions as JSON, through the same API you use for AI answers.

What you get

  • GOOGLE_SERP: organic results with position, title, link and snippet, plus People Also Ask, related searches and ads. Set page from 1 to 10 for deeper pages.
  • BING_SEARCH: Bing’s results with the AI summary Bing writes above them, in aioverview with its sources.
  • NAVER_SERP: Naver’s web documents, 15 per page, with page from 1 to 10.
  • REDDIT: a post search, one post with its comments, or the newest posts of a subreddit.

How it works

AI engines build their answers from the web, so the pages that rank in search and the threads people write on Reddit are the raw material of AI visibility. These engines bring that data into the flow you already use: the same request, the same webhook and the same JSON envelope.

Positions count across pages, so the first Google result on page 2 has position 11. Each task reads the live results at collection time.

Where it helps

  • Compare who ranks in search with who gets cited in AI answers for the same query.
  • Follow the Reddit threads that shape opinions in your category.

Send a request

Send the request with your API key in the Authorization header.

curl -X POST https://api.querying.ai/v1/async/task \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $QUERYING_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "taskType": "GOOGLE_SERP",
    "payload": {
      "query": "best project management software for small teams",
      "country": "US"
    }
  }'

Send BING_SEARCH and NAVER_SERP the same way, with query in the payload.

Request fields

taskTypestringRequired
The engine to run, such as CHATGPT or GOOGLE.
payload.querystringRequired
The search query, written the way a user types it into the search box.
payload.countrystring
Two-letter country code of the market to ask from, such as US, KR or JP. Default US.
payload.pageinteger
Results page to read, 1 to 10. Default 1. position keeps counting across pages.
webhook.urlstring
An HTTPS address on your server. The finished task is posted there the moment it completes.
idempotencyKeystring
Your own ID for the request. Each key creates one task per account, so a retried send stays a single task.

Response

A finished task looks like this, trimmed for length.
