Naver AI Tab is now available

Ask Naver’s conversational AI Tab a question and receive its full answer with the pages it cites.

What you get

• text: the conversational answer, formatted in Markdown.
• sources: the pages the answer cites, with URL, title and description.
• A task type of its own, NAVER_AI_TAB, measured separately from the AI Brief on the results page.

How it works

AI Tab is Naver’s conversational AI search. It answers every question with a full written response, and Korean users turn to it for recommendations and comparisons. Each task asks your query in AI Tab and returns the answer with its sources.

Measure AI Tab next to Naver AI Brief: the AI Brief shows what Naver summarizes on its results page, and AI Tab shows what Naver recommends when people ask it directly.

Request fields

taskTypestringRequired

The engine to run, such as CHATGPT or GOOGLE.

payload.querystringRequired

The search query, written the way a user types it into the search box.

payload.countrystring

Two-letter country code of the market to ask from. Default KR.

webhook.urlstring

An HTTPS address on your server. The finished task is posted there the moment it completes.

idempotencyKeystring

Your own ID for the request. Each key creates one task per account, so a retried send stays a single task.

task.statusstring

QUEUED, PROCESSING, then COMPLETED with the answer or FAILED with error.

credits.creditsChargedinteger

Credits charged for the finished task. A failed task charges 0.

response.textstring

The answer as plain text.

response.markdownstring

The answer with its headings, lists and tables, in every result.

response.sourcesarray

The pages the answer cites, in the engine’s order, each with position, url and label.

response.productsarray

Products Naver shows with the answer: title, price, mallName, rating, reviewCount and url.

Receive the result

The request returns the task right away with status QUEUED. Poll GET /v1/async/task/{id} until status is COMPLETED or FAILED, or add webhook.url and the finished task arrives at your server with the same task, credits and response. Results stay available for 24 hours after a task finishes.
