Watch your brand across AI answers

Monitors
The new monitor form with four prompts, the engines to ask and the country

Monitors send your prompt set to the AI engines you choose on a schedule and score every answer for your brand’s mentions and citations.

What you get

  • Mention rate: the share of answers that name your brand, by engine and by prompt.
  • Citation rate: the share of answers that cite one of your domains.
  • A prompt by engine grid that shows where your brand appears, with the full answer behind every cell.
  • An email alert when the mention rate drops below the threshold you set.

How it works

A monitor is a named prompt set in one market: the prompts, the engines to ask, the names that mean your brand, your domains, a country and a schedule from hourly to weekly. Each run sends every prompt to every engine and scores each answer once: whether it names your brand and where, whether it cites your domains and which competitors appear beside you.

Every number links to the answers behind it, so when a rate moves you open the exact answers that changed and see what the engines said.

Where it helps

  • Track your share of AI answers for the questions your buyers ask, week after week.
  • Find the prompts and engines where competitors appear ahead of you.
  • Watch mention and citation rates move after you publish new content.

Get started

Create a monitor from Monitors in the dashboard or with POST /v1/monitors. A prompt that contains your brand name always counts as a mention, so write prompts in the words a buyer would use.

Send a request

Send the request with your API key in the Authorization header.

curl -X POST https://api.querying.ai/v1/monitors \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $QUERYING_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "name": "Running shoes, US",
    "engines": ["CHATGPT", "GEMINI", "PERPLEXITY"],
    "prompts": [
      "best running shoes for flat feet",
      "most comfortable running shoes for beginners"
    ],
    "aliases": ["Acme", "Acme Running"],
    "domains": ["acme.com"],
    "country": "US",
    "intervalHours": 24,
    "alertBelowPct": 30
  }'

Read the results

Each run adds one row per prompt and engine. GET /v1/monitors/{id}/results lists the rows newest first, and nextCursor goes back as cursor for the next page. These rows come from the public running shoes report, trimmed for length.
