Products and places from Gemini answers

GEMINI results now include the product cards and places Gemini shows in its answer.

What changed

• shoppingCards: the product cards Gemini draws, each with title, position, price, store, rating, reviews, thumbnail and productLink to Google’s product page.
• inlineProducts: the products linked inside the answer text, with title, position and productLink.
• map: the places Gemini recommends for place questions, with address, coordinates, phone number, website, Google Maps link, rating and category.

How it works

When you ask Gemini what to buy or where to go, much of the answer sits outside the text: a row of product cards with prices, or a list of places on a map. These now arrive as structured fields next to text, in the order Gemini shows them, so position tells you which product or place comes first.

price comes as {value, currency, raw}, which makes prices easy to compare across stores. Each place carries placeId, a location with address, latitude and longitude, and reviews with the rating, the review count and its provider. Card titles also stay in text, so mention counts that read the answer text keep the same numbers.

Where it helps

• Track whether your product appears as a Gemini product card, at which position and at what price.
• See which stores Gemini sends shoppers to in your category.
• Check which clinics, restaurants or shops Gemini recommends in a neighborhood, with their ratings.

Receive the result

The request returns the task right away with status QUEUED. Poll GET /v1/async/task/{id} until status is COMPLETED or FAILED, or add webhook.url and the finished task arrives at your server with the same task, credits and response. Results stay available for 24 hours after a task finishes.
