ChatGPT answers drop to 1 credit

ChatGPT
ChatGPT answers going from 2 credits to 1, beside the monthly credits of the Basic, Pro, Scale and Max plans before and after, and the cost of 1,000 ChatGPT answers on Max against the OpenAI API with web search

A ChatGPT answer costs half as many credits, and every plan includes more credits each month.

What changed

  • ChatGPT tasks cost 1 credit (before: 2). The other answer engines keep their credits.
  • Every plan includes more credits each month: Basic $20 with 15,000, Pro $200 with 225,000, Scale $500 with 600,000 and Max $1,000 with 1,250,000 (before: 10,000, 190,000, 500,000 and 1,050,000).
  • Plans run more tasks at once: Basic 50 and Pro 200 (before: 25 and 150). Scale stays at 500 and Max at 1,000.
  • Prompt Research costs 14 credits per task (before: 12) and Keyword Volume 4 credits (before: 3).

How it works

Credits are charged when a task completes. A failed task releases the credits it held, so you pay only for the answers you receive.

1,000 credits cost $1.33 on Basic, $0.89 on Pro, $0.83 on Scale and $0.80 on Max. On Max, 1,000 ChatGPT answers cost $0.80. The same 1,000 answers through the OpenAI API with web search cost $57.86.

Where it helps

  • Track twice as many prompts, countries or repeat runs on ChatGPT with the same credits.
  • Collect up to 1.25 million ChatGPT answers a month on Max.
  • Finish large batches sooner on Basic and Pro, with 50 and 200 tasks at once.
